The design details | We started with removing partial walls to open up the kitchen to the living room space. Shiplap board was installed and stained in a dark finish at three common walls for a repeating wood element throughout. The unit's electrical and plumbing needed a complete update from the 80's and all new fixtures were installed. Plank flooring runs throughout the entry/kitchen and both bathrooms, while a light mushroom carpet runs throughout the living and bedroom areas. The fireplace unit was replaced and stacked travertine stone was installed from floor to ceiling. The kitchen and bathrooms were furnished with new custom cabinets, stone countertops were installed into place, and showers received a mosaic stone accent wall as focal points.
